Offices in Calle Alfonso Gomez
Workplaces
Madrid, ES - 2006
6400 m2
Completed
This office building is located in an industrial area of Madrid in process of transformation, where the old industrial buildings are being replaced by new buildings of mixed industrial / business character. These characteristics of the place are reflected in the materiality of the building, of industrial evocation, with materials such as glass and perforated metal.
The building is developed taking advantage of the depth of the lot, in a single monolithic volume. This allows the appearance of a courtyard that acts as a large outer vestibule of the whole. Presided over by panoramic elevators and with an open gallery that gives access to the offices on each floor, its uniqueness is formally reflected in its free geometry, which contrasts with the exterior appearance of the building, strict and orderly. The work spaces are large, allowing, due to their size and relation with the façade, various types of interior organization.
