Largo do Regedor
Residentials
Lisbon, PT - 2016
2000 m2
Completed
The project concerns the rehabilitation of a building located in Largo do Regedor, between Praça dos Restauradores and Praça do Rossio in Lisbon, which was built at the beginning of the 20th century, and had as its last use, the Offices of Municipal Firemen.
It is a building with an irregular polygon, with an area of approximately 500m2, consisting of 4 floors (3 floors + attic). The project corresponds to a rehabilitation of the mentioned building, through the recovery of the main façade of the building, and the execution of changes in its interior, that aim at the implementation of a mixed program of commerce / restoration in the lower floors (floor +0, intermediate floor , and floor +1) and housing on the upper floors (floor +2 and +3). The houses created on the upper floors are in duplex typology, and because the floor plan of the roof is receding, there are also continuous terraces that allow a large outdoor living area, overlooking the Largo do Regedor and the slope of the Castle.
