The project concerns a renovation / refurbishment of an unfurnished building, built at the beginning of the 20th century, with 5 floors, located at João Crisóstomo Avenue in Lisbon. It is a building that occupies a narrow and quite long lot, where each floor corresponds to a house, and the first two floors share the usufruct of the garden in the back.

The intervention strategy has undergone the integral recovery of the building with maintenance of its volumetry, design of elevations and constructive solutions. From the outside, there was a careful recovery of the existing one with maintenance of the finishes of origin and replacement of the wooden frame. The interior changes corresponded to a partial repartitioning maintaining the formal and spatial logic of the existing fires. In their organization, the living rooms were designed to face the main façade and the rooms facing the back facade, while kitchens and sanitary facilities face the whole of the lot where there is a small inner courtyard.
