Madan Parque
Workplaces
Almada, PT - 2005
3200 m2
Completed
The MADAN PARQUE business incubator project founded in 1995, the volumetry arises from the process of subtraction and adaptation of the irregular geometry of the implantation area located in Almada. The dissolution of the volume assumes its own formal value, allowing to reduce the scale of the building and present it to the experience of the users and to the city with a more amiable dimension.
The two fronts of the lot and the difference between them give rise to the existence of two entrances in the building, one to the South, from the new avenue, and one to the North, in the lower floor, closer to the surface meter. Between these two entrances is created a crossing of the building, which echoes and enhances its public character. The reading of the needs of each space was made through a series of diagrams relating different parameters - intimacy - flexibility - modularity - connectivity - concentration - light and natural ventilation - contact or direct access to green space - percentage of internal and external users - Proximity to access.
