Residentials
Torres Vedras, PT - 2010
820 m2
Completed
It is the project of a single-family house and an annex of support to the agricultural activity, in Torres Vedras, inserted in a rural property of more than 100 000 m2. It is located at the highest point of the terrain, to the north, and it is accessed through a dirt track.
The housing corresponds to a large horizontal plane, based on ribs that guarantee the necessary retreat to the large glazed planes. In this horizontal plane open large patios, one in the main entrance, which functions as a large outer lobby and accommodates 10 places of covered outdoor parking, and a smaller one, next to the indoor pool, functioning as an exterior extension of the same. In this large volume there are also smaller courtyards that serve other interior spaces, namely, bedrooms, treatment area and the outdoor eating area adjacent to the living room. The most noble spaces, living room and rooms, are oriented to the South, indented under the great horizontal plane referred. The remaining spaces are oriented to the north, supported on patios.
